The GHALCA G 6 tournament starts today with a new look Accra Hearts of Oak side clashing with and Aduana Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Hearts who have released as many as eight first team regulars including defender Owusu Bempah and goalie Soulama Abdoulaye but compensated for their loss with the high profile capture of Medeama talisman Malik Akowuah.
On the other hand, Aduana have managed to hold on to many of their players and their striker Yahaya Mohammed has vowed to become the topscorer of the pre-season contest.
The only other team in Group B, Medeama are on standby.
The Group A opener between Asante Kotoko and Bechem United has been rescheduled to Monday instead of Sunday because of Ghana’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Alexandria.
Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars are the third team in the Group A.
