Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Amin Alhassan has rejoined the team after spending the second half of the season on-loan at Accra Great Olympics.

The defensive midfielder played 11 games for Olympics but he could not help them beat the drop after joining them in the second round of the 2016/17 season.

Alhassan joined the first team for preseason training this morning and he’s eager to prove himself in the team once again.

“I am just happy to be back and I will be trying to give of my best,” the diminutive midfielder told accraheartsofoaksc.com

“I got good playing time with Olympics but it is sad that we could not beat the drop. I am back home now and I am eager to prove myself again. I just want to work hard and leave the rest for the technical team.”

The Phobians began preseason on Monday and are expected to welcome Head Coach Frank Nuttal, who is on holidays in the coming weeks.

Accra Hearts of Oak lost the MTN FA Cup to fierce rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko last season and finished third on the Ghana Premier League table.

Amin Alhassan who had some good play time at Accra Great Olympics will look to fight for a place in Coach Nuttal's team beginning with the GHALCA G8 tournament.
