Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Malik Akowuah says he is not perturbed by the delayed appointment of a substantive head coach ahead of the start of the new Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have been without for more than five months after  demoting coach Sergio Traguil to the second team.

They appointed Henry Wellington as assistant coach- the former Kotoko coach has been in charge of the team and looks set to start the premier league with the side.

“I’m unfazed about the issue of not having a substantive head coach. The team has already assistant coach taking care of us, and for me the coach has the experience of managing top clubs in the country.

“But for that is not the issue, the issue is about supporting him so that we start winning which is very important,” Akowuah told Adom FM. Meanwhile, Hearts open their season’s account against Inter Allies on Monday, 13 February, 2016.
