Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed former AshGold goalkeepers’ trainer Jerry Adjei as their new technical team member ahead of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season slated for February 4.

Adjei parted ways with the Obuasi based claub few months ago and the Phobians have decided to enroll him to occupy the vacant position left by Nassam Yakubu.

"I decided not to renew my contract at AshantiGold and am happy to land here [Hearts of Oak]" he told Kickgh.com in an interview

Ex-Ghana international Sammy Adjei and James Nannor were linked to take over the goalkeepers trainer role at Hearts of Oak but the management have decided to settle on Adjei who will prepare the goalkeepers for the coming season.
