The desire of Accra Hearts of Oak fans seeing former Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi return to the Oak family has been crushed after board Chairman Togbui Afede debunked reports linking the vacant Hearts of Oak coaching job to the Japanese-American who parted ways with the club after the first round of the current season.

Kenichi has been linked to the job by various media reports after the sacking of Portuguese coach Sergio Traguil. Kenichi wrote on his Twitter page saying “Hearts of Oak has three games to play. Let them finish with that one first”. Leaving questions on inquiring minds as to if he will return or not.

However, management of Accra Hearts of Oak met on issues revolving around the club before the club’s Ghana Premier League week 28 clash against Ebusua Dwarfs.

One of the tabled issues for discussion was the managerial duties, after using three managers in the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League season namely, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, Sergio Traguil and Yaw Preko.

During the board meeting, majority shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede debunked wild suggestions linking Kenichi to the job claiming the Japanese has no place in the club again. He insisted the Japanese will not come back to the club.
