Accra Hearts of Oak have begun serious business in the transfer market after securing the service of Henry Jay Lamptey from Danbort FC.

The striker who signed a three year deal for an undisclosed fee, spent only a season with Danbort FC after moving from a division two club, made a big impact in the GN Bank division One League after scoring 14 goals in the just ended campaign to emerge as top scorer of the club.

The Phobians who have struggled to get their strikers produce enough goals last season have made their intentions of producing more goals in the 2016/2017 season clear following the purchase of Henry Jay.

The player is expected to join the camp of Hearts on Monday as the team prepares for the G6 tournament and the new season.
