Hearts of Oak strategic board are not proactive – Paa Kofi Susum
ODOTEI AND AKAMBI

National Chapters Organizer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Paa Kofi Susum, has disclosed that the strategic board of the club are not proactive.

The national chapters committee of the club have asked the owner of the club, Togbe Afede XIV to dissolve the strategic board because they are not doing anything to help the club.

According to the fans, the woes of the club have been worsen with the presence of these two in the club’s administration. Alhaji Akambi is under fire for allegedly under performing and has been tagged a team wrecker by a section of the supporters. They also believe Vincent Sowah Odotei has a divided attention due to his Member of Parliament ambitions.

Akambi is the club’s representative on the Premier League Board for some time with Odotei now being the current Managing Director of the club.

Speaking to Asempa Sports, Kofi Susum said, “We had a meeting with the chapters committee members to discuss about the performance of the club but they accepted that Alhaji Akambi and Vincent Sowah Odotei must resign from the club.

“Akambi have made some unpleasant remarks about the team which the chapters committee think it is not good and we are asking Togbe to ask him to resign from the team. Odotei always makes himself untouchable.

“The board is not proactive and they are failing to answer the demand of the supporters. We were informed the board went to the training grounds to inform the players not to listen to anybody apart from the strategic board meanwhile they are not doing anything to help the club and they have proven that they can’t manage the club.

“We will send placards and banners to demonstrate against them at the stadium because they are can’t manage the club and we want to tell them the club is nothing without the supporters.

“The most painful thing was Odotei describing the supporters as external forces. We demonstrate against them till they are shown the exit door”. He added.

The Phobians are currently occupying the 4th position with 42 points and will play Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium in the match day 28 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
