Hearts of Oak and Vodafone set to sign lucrative sponsorship deal

Hearts of Oak and Vodafone are on the verge of signing a huge sponsorship deal in the coming days, according to Kickgh.com.

The management of the Phobians is currently locked in negotiations with Africa’s leading mobile telecommunications company for a lucrative sponsorship deal before the league resumption.

Vodafone Ghana have decided to enter the country's football through a partnership with the former Ghana Premier League champions.

"We have been holding talks with several companies including telecommunication firms," a Hearts of Oak insider told Kickgh.com

"Hearts of Oak is a big club on the continent which deserves to partner giant companies. All that I can say now is that we're still in talks with companies for deals which will benefit Hearts of Oak."

Hearts of Oak have struggled to secure a shirt Sponsorship deal after their contract with Strategic Africa Securities (SAS), owned by the majority individual shareholder and Executive Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV expired in 2014.

Hearts currently have GOIL and StarLife Assurance as their fuel and insurance partners with Umbro as their official kit suppliers and recently secured a deal with Financial Technology Company Cloud Africa.
