Hearts of Oak arrive in Sogakope ahead of WAFA clash to lift League title

Hearts of Oak have safely arrived in Sogakope ahead of the team’s final match of the Ghana Premier League season against WAFA SC.

The Phobians last Sunday earned a point from the 1-1 draw against Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In what was a matchday 33 encounter of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season, the team ultimately became Champions in waiting.

This weekend, Hearts of Oak will be crowned Champions at the end of the fixture against WAFA SC.

The result from that game set to be played at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena on Sunday, July 18, 2021, will have no bearing on what happens at the summit of the league table.

Geared up for the upcoming game, Hearts of Oak have today arrived safely in Sogakope for the final game of the season.

Pictures posted on the Twitter page of the club shows fans welcoming players and officials in style.

On Sunday, it will be all celebrations when the Rainbow club is crowned Premier League Champions for the first time in 11 years.
