Hearts of Oak defeat Na God FC 3-2 in friendly match

Hearts of Oak secured a 3-2 victory over Division One side Na God FC in a friendly match held at the Pobiman Sports Complex on Saturday.

The game served as a preparation for their upcoming Gameweek 26 betPawa Premier League fixture against Nsoatreman.

David Ocloo's men showed their dominance from the onset and scored their opening goal inside the first 10 minutes through Suraj Seidu. Despite creating more chances, Hearts of Oak failed to add to their lead and headed into the break with a 1-0 advantage.

In the second half, the Hearts of Oak coach made some changes, introducing Richmond Ayi, Samuel Inkoom, Zakari Yakubu, Francis Adjetey, Amankwah Baafi, Linda Mtange, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr, Victor Aidoo, and Albert Dieudonne into the game.

The Phobians doubled their lead in the second half through Linda Mtange, who headed home a cross from Amankwah Baafi. However, Na God FC fought back with two quick goals to level the scores.

Linda Mtange completed his brace late in the game, securing a 3-2 victory for the Hearts of Oak.

The win comes after the Phobians drew a scoreless game against Dreams FC in their previous league match. With their upcoming game against Nsoatreman, Hearts of Oak is determined to return to winning ways in the betPawa Premier League.
