Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have rubbished reports claiming that former team manager Sylvester Nii Sabahn Quaye has returned to the club to take up the position.
The experienced team manager left the Phobians midway through the 2020/2021 football season.
However, on Wednesday, he was spotted in the camp of Hearts of Oak, leading to speculations that he had returned to the club.
In a release from the club subsequently, they have emphasized that the story about Sylvester Nii Sabahn Quaye is not true.
“The Hearts of Oak management will want to put on record that the club’s former team manager, Sylvester Nii Sabahn Quaye has not returned to the club in any capacity as speculated on some media platforms.
“Sabahn, a former Black Stars team manager is currently attached to another Ghana Premier League club. The story about his return is highly speculative and misleading. We will entreat all media houses to always confirm stories about our club with club officials before going public,” the Hearts of Oak statement has said.
