Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Akambi has disclosed that his outfit is ready ahead of league resumption, however he has urged all stakeholders to wait for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to come out more clearer.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 17th Address to the Nation on the update of the COVID-19 pandemic announced the lift of ban on contact sports, paving the way for the resumption of competitive football activities in Ghana.

Football has been on suspension since March 16, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, leading to the cancellation of the 2019/2020 season.

"Football people should not argue out this statement but wait for the GFA to come out more clearer", he told ghanasportpage.com.

"We have paid all our players their salaries and they are there doing nothing so the players are happy and can be on the field anytime any day.

"Everybody is ready," he concluded.
