Legon Cities FC defender, Justice Anane has stressed that contrary to what people believe, there is no pressure on the club ahead of their clash against Hearts of Oak on Thursday evening.

Nicknamed the Royals, the club will later today take on the Phobians in a matchday 30 fixture of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

With the stakes high for Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities FC are believed to be under pressure especially on the back of speculations that the team could give the opponent a free pass to help them win the league title.

Pleading with the public to discard that assertion, Justice Anane has indicated that his outfit is not afraid of the opponent and will play to win.

“To be honest, this a normal game for us. No pressure. We are calm and cool. We will just play our game and enjoy ourselves not forgetting the fans,” the left-back shared at a pre-match conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Justice Anane continued, “I have played in the Ghana Premier League and met Salifu, Obeng Jr, Barnie and the other Hearts players before. They don’t scare me. I am very skillful as well, so they must be worried rather.”

The game between Legon Cities FC and Hearts of Oak is scheduled to kick off at 18:00GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
