Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu has sadly lost the mother she was 72 years. Madam Emelia Tetteh passed away yesterday (Tuesday) at the Royal Hospital, Akweteyman in Accra after battling an ailment for some time.
Speaking to Hearts Media the midfielder said
“Everyone is saddened on hearing of the news of the passing of our mother and, she will be sorely missed in the family as she played an elderly role and give very good advice to all in the family,”
A Phobia delegation led by CEO Frederick Moore visited the player and his family on Tuesday, the delegation assured the player that the club is ready to assist fully in the burial and funeral rites of Madam Tetteh.
According to the family funeral and burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
