Hearts of Oak midfielder, Benjamin Afutu Kotei has rated Ashanti Gold SC’s James Akaminko and Kotoko’s Justice Blay as his two toughest opponents in the Premier League.
Kotei was one of the consistent performers for the Phobians in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
His exploits last term saw him been touted as one of the best defensive midfielders in the country.
Speaking about his toughest opponents in the league, the 24-year-old told Angel FM, “Players who gave me a tough time in the league are James Akaminko of Ashgold and Kotoko’s Justice Blay.”
When asked about his future as the season approaches, Afutu said that he is open to a move to arch rivals Asante Kotoko if only a deal is better.
“If Kotoko want to sign me and the deal is good, I will play for them if only Hearts of Oak agrees,” he said.
The top-flight was cancelled by the Ghana Football Association due to the coronavirus pandemic.
