The Phobians were only three points away from the relegation zone prior the game, but after the win, they moved to 11th on the table and are now six away from the drop zone.

Hearts of Oak had also lost five of their last six games in the league prior to the fixture.

After a performance that saw the former FC Cincinnati man named Man of the Match on Wednesday, he added that the club was not in normal times.

Addressing issues concerning his inconsistent performances, Salim said, “Yeah I know, I am going to work hard on that. As I said we are not in normal times so I am going to work hard on that.”

Hearts of Oak will next face Aduana FC on the weekend of May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
