Accra Hearts of Oak are set to complete the signing Niger international Zakari Victorien Adjé Adebayor from Inter Allies, according to Kickgh.com sources.
The sources claim the Phobians are in advanced talks with fellow Premier League side Inter Allies over the possible transfer of the 22-year-old forward.
A few weeks ago Hearts contacted their regional rivals about the availability of Adebayor.
"Coach Kim Grant recommended him to the club's Chief Executive Officer, Mark Noonan after the 107th-anniversary match," a close source told Kickgh.com
"Inter Allies asked Hearts of Oak officials to cough up $200,000 for him."
The 2000 CAF Champions League winners resumed training at the Pobiman on Monday and the Niger international was spotted the training ground, according to reports in the local media.
The fans at the grounds were delighted to see the players at Pobiman but the target didn’t train with the team but was around to witness the session.
He joined the 'Eleven is to one' lads prior to the start of the 2018 Ghana Premier League season from AS GNN Niger for an undisclosed fee.
He made 12 appearances and scored seven goals in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League season.
He was part of the Niger national team that participated in the 2017 WAFU Cup held in Ghana.
Adebayor was given trials for FC Lorient and AS Monaco.
