Hearts of Oak talisman Joseph Esso recovers from head injury in time ahead of Dreams FC encounter

Hearts of Oak has disclosed today that danger man Joseph Esso has recovered from the injury he suffered during their meeting with Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League last weekend. 

The former Ebusua Dwarfs man featured for the Rainbow lads on Sunday afternoon when they honoured a date with the Porcupine Warriors on match week 7 of the ongoing 2019/2020 season.

In the second half, Joseph Esso suffered a cut on his head after a nasty collision with a an opposing defender. Fears of the forward missing the team's upcoming fixture in the Ghana Premier League against Dreams FC has been watered down.

In a statement from Hearts of Oak on their official Twitter handle, they have confirmed that the player has returned to training today ahead of the trip to Dawu this weekend.

"Joseph Esso is expected at training this afternoon ahead of our GPL game with Dreams FC on Sunday. The forward sustained a cut on his head in the game with Kotoko last Sunday, but, he has been cleared by the club's medics to resume training", the statement read.
