Hearts of Oak will come good with hard work - Club PRO Kwame Opare Addo

Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo believes the club will come good with hard work in the ongoing season.

The reigning champions have had an embarrassing start to the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

After four games played, the Phobians sit on the 15th on the league log with just three points.

Samuel Boadu and his charges have recorded three draws and one defeat.

The poor start of the club into the new campaign has left many fans calling for the exit of Samuel Boadu, who led the team to a domestic treble last season.

However, Opare Addo believes the team will get back on track with hard work.

“No Phobian is happy with this kind of results," he told Accra based Starr FM.

"We’ve had discussions with the players and team officials and the only way we can bounce back is to work hard. So we have accepted the challenge and we are working harder than before to get the results that we are hoping for," he added.

Hearts of Oak will face Algerian side JS Saoura in the CAF Confederations Cup playoffs on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile, 10,000 fans have been approved by CAF to watch the game.
