Hearts Of Oak will not participate in Africa Community Cup

Management of Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the team will not participate in the 4 -Club Cancer Tournament dubbed Africa Community Cup slated for October 19, at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

The club says the organizers of the tournament failed to fulfill financial commitment on several occasions, leading to their decision pull out of the competition.

The club announced their decision on its official Twitter handle.

The competition is organized by the Ghana Cancer Center which is aimed at building a National Cancer Center in the Atwima Kwawoma District in the Ashanti Region.

Two clubs from Nigeria namely Rivers United and Enugu Rangers were expected to join the Phobians and Asante Kotoko to compete for a prize money of $10,000.00.
