Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Ankabi managed to escape from irate fans of the club following their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
According to local media reports, Ankabi was held hostage as the fans prevented him from leaving the venue.
But the Police on duty helped the former National Chapters Committee (NCC) chairman to escape the wrath of the angry fans.
