Former Ghana youth star Abraham Asiedu Attobrah is close to joining Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak.

The 22 year old trained with the Phobians on Wednesday at the Ajax Legon training park strongly affirming reports of joining the Rainbow Club.

Attobrah was included in the senior team that presented themselves at the grounds on Monday morning and is currently being reviewed by Coach Frank Nuttal who joined training today.

The former New Edubiase winger left the country in 2016 to join Belgium side Kortrijk after excelling at the FIFA under-20 world Cup in 2015.

However, things didn't work out for him in Europe hence his return to Ghana to join a club that he has constantly been linked with.

Public Relation Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Opare Addo confirmed the club is in talks with the player over the possibility of joining the Phobians.

“Any player that is here training and has not yet signed has expressed interest in playing for Hearts and once we have given room for the player to train, it means that we also want to have closer look at the player.

“So once the coach takes the players through some few days of training, he will them confirm as to the way forward with regards to the players we should sign,” Opare told Ghanacrusader.com
