Ace Sports broadcast journalist, Henry Asante Twum is in line to be named as the new Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Currently the Communications Director for Ghana Premier League club Dreams FC, Henry is a close associate of GFA president Kurt Okraku. Since becoming the head of the country's football governing body, there had been speculation that he will eventually head the communications department.
In the last two months, Tamimu Issah has been in charge of that role at the Ghana FA. This evening, however, he has tendered in his resignation from that position.
"I have just tendered in my letter of resignation to the General Secretary of the GFA via email. It has been 14 years of committed service to the Ghana Football Association"

In line with the latest development, the naming of Henry Asante Twum as the new Communications Director of the Ghana FA is imminent. It is being reported that an official statement to confirm his appointment will be released soon.
