Herve Renard names six Ghanaian players in his all time African XI

The former Black Stars assistant coach, Herve Renard has recently named his all time XI from the African continent and Ghana dominated the line up with six players featuring.

The France international was assistant to Claude Le Roy during the 2008 African Cup of Nations tournament. Ghana managed to claim the bronze medal.

Afterwards, he led Zambia to a shocking AFCON title in 2012 and repeated that feat with Ivory Coast three years later, beating Ghana in the final on penalties.

In an interview with TV3 journalist Juliet Bawuah, he listed Richard Kingson, John Mensah, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan.

Jordan Ayew got a place on the bench of his team.
