Highly-rated youngster, Anthony Quainoo puts up a magnificent performance to secure the Man of the Match award in Hasaacas 2-1 win over Unistar Academy.
Quainoo, 18, scored the match winner on the day inside the second half and ended the game as the most outstanding player.
He was immense in the middle of the park liaising with Sanah who picked the defensive midfield role and the two other joint attacking midfielder in the person of Philip Flamini and Benjamin Acqua Mills.
Philip Flamini had earlier scored the opener on the day ably assisted by Nicholas Zakli who was the sole attacker upfront.
The host secured the equaliser from the spot-kick with barely 15 minutes left on the clock.
Coach Mustapha Fudail threw more men forward to bolster the attack and Kwabena Baidoo was brought on to do that job replacing Philip Flamini.
Quainoo was served a peach of a pass from Nicholas Zakli and the young man who’s tasting his first Division One League season made no mistake to put the ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper to send the game 2-1 in Hasmal’s advantage.
It was Quainoo’s second goal of the season in the FA Cup and the Division One League competitions.
