HISTORY: Emmanuel Gyasi scores first Serie A brace in Spezia stalemate

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored a brace as Spezia fight back to end the game draw against Parma in the Italian Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

Spezia Calcio managed to hold Parma Calcio to a 2-2 home stalemate at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Parma Calcio ended the first half in a 2-0 lead via goals scored by Yann Karamoh and Hernani on the 17th and 25th minute respectively.

Seven minutes after the break, Gyasi pulled one back for Spezia Calcio with a fine strike before scoring on the 72nd minute to end the match in a 2-2 draw.

The brace means, Gyasi has scored his first-ever Serie A brace.

Gyasi has scored four goals and provided four assists in his 26 game outings for Spezia Calcio this season so far. The Italian-born Ghanaian striker lasted for the entire duration of the game.
