Hosts Mauritania kicks off Total U-20 AFCON against Cameroon

The draw of the Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Mauritania 2021 was conducted on Monday 25 January 2021 at the Hilton Hotel in Yaounde, Cameroon.

CAF Head of Competitions, Khaled Nasser conducted the draw assisted by CAF and Cameroon legend Emmanuel Maboang.

CAF interim President, Constant Omari, CAF Executive Committee Members, CAF acting Secretary General Abdelmounaim Bah and CAF Deputy General Secretary Anthony Baffoe were amongst those in attendance, that also included a group of CAF legends.

The draw put hosts Mauritania against Cameroon in the opening match that will take place in Nouakchott on 14 February 2021.

The Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Mauritania between 14 February 2021 and 4 March 2021.
