Mohammed Kudus after playing 51 league matches across two seasons with FC Nordsjaelland, scoring 14 times.

Eleven of those coming in 2019-20, his form attracted the interest of several of Europe's leading clubs.

But it was Dutch giants Ajax who won the race to secure his signature, with Kudus potentially seen as a long-term replacement for Hakim Ziyech, who joined Chelsea this summer.

Kudus, a nominee for the 2020 Golden Boy award, made his senior international debut for Ghana last year. In his unveiling, the midfielder had the Ghana flag out during the photo shoot for his first official pictures as an Ajax player.

Another player involved in this trend was Deputy Black Stars captain Thomas Partey who joined Arsenal FC on a long-term contract this summer from La Liga side Atletico Madrid. After months of speculation about his future, the midfielder signed for the Gunners on deadline day sending Arsenal fans into wild jubilation.

Thomas Partey 27, joined his new club after playing two international friendlies for Ghana during the international break.

Thomas who will wear the No 18 shirt during his unveiling by the London-based club also brought out the Ghana flag to his official Arsenal photoshoot.
