I am proud of my players, says Karim Zito after FA Cup win over Hearts of Oak

Karim Zito has lauded his Dreams FC players following their win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Still Believe lads defeated the Phobaisn in their Round of 32 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Agyenim Boateng scored the only goal of the game as Dreams FC progressed to the Round of 16.

The 'Phobians' astonishingly were handed a penalty in the dying embers but couldn't equalize despite hitting it on two occasions, first from Benjamin Yorke but goalkeeper Augustine Koomson got penalized for coming off the line hence called for a retake.

However, Samuel Inkoom stepped up for the second but also had it gathered

Speaking after the game, Zito lauded his players following the hard-fought win.

"Words cannot describe today’s feeling," the former Black Satellites gaffer said.

"I said before the game that we have never won here before but we will break that jinx and we did it against such a team like Hearts of oak.

"I am really proud of my boys for making history," the head coach added.
