Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad has insisted he is not scared to fight for his position at the club.
The young shotstopper has struggled to break into the Kotoko's set-up for years.
Danlad was pushed out on loan to King Faisal last season and aided them to maintain their Premier League status.
With Razak Abalora, Kwame Baah and Felix Annan still at the club, the Black Satellites goalkeeper admitted he is still in the learning process but ready to fight for his position at the club
"Playing time gives confidence alright but sitting at the bench doesn't mean I don't learn," he told Kumasi based Wontumi FM.
"I do learn a lot because I was with the club in the first round and I study a lot from Razak Abalora.
"So in the second round, i decided to seek for a challenge to apply what i have learnt but is not like i was scared to fight for my position at Kotoko. I wasn't at all," he added.
Danlad had already played for another loan spell with Berekum Chelsea in the 2019/20 season which got truncated following the outbreak of coronavirus.
He has been outstanding since coming into the limelight in 2017 with Black Starlets having helped the Black Satellites to win the CAF U-20 Cup of Nations which was staged in Mauritania early this year and went on to clinch the best goalkeeper of that particular tournament.
