Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker and fans favourite Eric Bekoe says he is ready to switch allegiance and play for the club’s bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

Eric Bekoe who played for Kumasi Asante Kotoko in his hay days in the Ghana Premier League and winning the golden boot in a title winning season of 2008 says if the club contacts him he will play for them because his job is to play football.

Bekoe’s sensational form saw him make a move to Egypt to play for the likes of Petrojet before returning to the country to play for Berekum Chelsea and Sekondi Hasaacas.

Undoubtedly, one of the best strikers when is fit but has been troubled recently with injuries.

He said on GhOne that, "I am ready to play for Hearts of Oak because football is my job."

Bekoe played for the national team 12 times scoring only four goals.
