I am ready to Play for Ghana again - Dan Quaye

Published on: 30 May 2017

Former Hearts of Oak and current Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye says he is ever ready to represent the nation again if he is called up to the Black Stars of Ghana.

The 32-year-old defender says he still has a lot to offer the nation if given the opportunity.

"I am ever ready to play for the Black Stars again, when you look at Egyptian goalkeeper El Hadari even at age 40, he was still playing for the Pharoahs, I am even fortunate that I only record minor injuries."

Dan Quaye was a member of the 23-man squad who made history representing Ghana at the first ever World Cup in Germany 2006, but the right-back has struggled to get back into the team after the tournament.

The former Hearts of Oak defender who had spells in China believes he has an unfinished business with the senior national team.
