Malik Jabir has unequivocally said he is the only person to change and revive the fortunes of his former side, Asante Kotoko
A new 12 member board of directors have been named to steer the affairs of the club.
However, the board have hit the grounds running by appointing Nana Yaw Amponsah as the Chief Executive Officer to help them achieve their mandate.
But according to Jabir, he is the only person who can revive the club and bring the spirit back.
He stressed that he is ready to serve in any capacity at the club.
"I am the only man to bring the Asante Kotoko spirit back," he told Kumasi based Pure FM.
"They should come back to me. I am ready for any role.
He also added he feels sad about how he was treated after winning the 2003 Ghana Premier League with the club but he is ready to serve the club.
"I still feel sad about the treatment I had at Kotoko after winning the league for them in 2003," he added.
Nana Yaw Amponsah has been awarded a three-year deal.
