Former Ghana defender, John Paintsil has revealed that he does not have the CAF license A coaching certificate.
The former Fulham right-back who is now the bankroller of Wa All Stars and also heads the club’s technical team revealed that what he holds is equal to the License C.
“I don’t have a CAF License A certificate, I have done that of South Africa which is equivalent to license C certificate here in Ghana, ” Paintsil told Kumasi based radio station Fox FM.
“I have made a request from the Club Licensing board if they accept fine but if they don’t then one cannot do anything than to wait and acquired the needful certificate before,”
Paintsil cannot lead Wa All-Stars in the Ghana Premier League as head coach with the current coaching certificate he is holding.
