At his declaration, he had Board Member of Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club, Nana Banyin Eyison and Director of Ebusua Dwarfs Mr. J. F. Mensah in the studios. All the aforementioned names were members of the defunct Ghana Football Association Executive Committee(ExCO).

"I have that expectise to lead the association and strengthen it financially, we have to get the game running from the colts level to the top".

"We can do it with all these men behind me", he said on Connect FM.

Though it was rumoured that Osei Palmer will announce his candidature and it will send shivers under the spine of many who are with similar ambition.

Former GFA Vice President George Afriyie who fell out with the Executive Committee of the GFA before the eventual broadcast of the number 12 expose has made his intentions known as well as King Faisal chief Abdul Karim Grusah.

Others including Dreams FC's Kurt Okraku are expected to make their intentions known before delegates go to poll based on the timeline of the Normalization Committee.

Mr. James Essilfie, Chief Executive Officer of Medeama Sporting Club commented on the live feed to rally behind Osei Parmer, saying he is the most likely candidate to replace former GFA President.

"I support Osei Parmer, he is the best man at the moment".

Mr. J. F. Mensah, defunct member of the association also stated that, Palmer was one of the few whom Anas’ monetary bait could not have him handcuffed.

"If some of us are backing Osei Kwaku Palmer then you should know, he's one of the few who stood up when the laws of the game was turned upside down".

“Osei Palmer was always first to put things right at Executive Committee meetings. He has integrity and has a lot of experience in how to strengthen the association financially", he told Takoradi Connect FM.
