Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi revealed that he felt sad for the Kotoko players after suffering a humiliating 2-1 defeat to Asokwa Deportivo.

The General manager, Dr Kwame Kyei went in hard on the players during the club's crisis meeting of which the audio was leaked.

The current Medeama goalkeeper after listening to the audio felt bad for the players but added that it was not the first time Kotoko has lost to the same club.

“When I heard the voice I felt so bad, sometimes we need to understand that even a division one side can also win against Kotoko, this is not the first time Asokwa Deportivo beating Kotoko, it even happened during my time” He told Silver FM sports.

He added: “We must motivate the boys when such defeats comes, some of them are ‘old’ and we must respect that when talking to them, it’s not our (players) intention to lose a game, it’s our wish to win every game that we play but we all know it’s not possible as such”.

“You cannot tell me this crop of players in Kotoko are so bad, they are very good players”.
