New AshantiGold signing Yaw Annor has emphatically stated that he gave the former Real Madrid pair a difficult time when they clashed in the Copa Del Rey three years ago.
The former Bechem United player was one of the shining lights in Fuenlabrada's 4-2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey.
He was fantastic in the second leg which helped his side to a 2-2 draw.
"I gave Theo Hernandez and Mateo Kovacic a tough time when FC Fuenlabrada came up against Real Madrid in a Copa Del Rey match in 2017," he told Sikka Sports.
He however, failed to establish himself in Europe and had to make a return to Bechem United.
He made the switch to the lower tier Spanish side in 2017 after leading Bechem to an MTN FA Cup win in 2016.
