Asante Kotoko board chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei has dismissed speculations that he is not on good terms with the Chief Executive Officer of the club Nana Yaw Amponsah.
In recent months there have been several reports of Dr. Kwame Kyei not happy with some decisions of the CEO, and the CEO not giving the board chairman audience among other things.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Dr. Kwame Kyei stated that as humans there will always be some misunderstandings but they resolve them and move on.
"There is no problem between myself and Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management," he said.
"As humans, definitely there will be misunderstandings between us but we resolve them and move on.
"I can't alone decide on his future, the entire board will review his output and take a firm decision in the best interest of the club," he concluded.
Asante Kotoko, who are Ghana Premier League champions will wrap up their 2021/22 campaign with an away game against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
