Struggling Chennai City host defending champions Bengaluru FC in the I-League on Wednesday, the 8th of March at theJawaharlal Nehru Stadium inChennai.


Setting the scene:


The home team come into this clash on the back of woeful form which see's them placed ninth in the table with just nine points to their name, a run which has seen them register just two wins in the league so far.


The problem the team is facing is their inability to score goals which has hurt them and whileCharles de Souza and Haroon Amiri have been working extremely hard up front they have found little or no support from the wingers and the midfield. The aim of the management will be to ensure that they do not end up as the wooden spoon holders come the end of the season.

The Blues got back on track after a month which has seen their title challenge fall by the wayside. They come into this game as the favourites and will win 2-1.
