Ex-Karela United trainer Dr. Prosper Nartey has sighted misunderstanding as the main reason that led to his surprise exit from the club.

The Ghanaian trainer exited his seat as the head coach of Karela United less than four weeks after his appointment by the club’s managerial board

According to him, difference in philosophy and ideologies ushered him out of the club despite the promising nature of his task.

“I left Karela United FC because of some misunderstanding. The club wasn’t ready to accept my philosophy, plans and demands.”

“I will advise club administrator to stop imposing player on coaches and this is because the coach would be blamed when the results are not coming”. He told Cape Coast based Yes FM in an interview.

The young trainer claims that some old players performance weren’t convincing to his standard, which some of those old players thought they are seniors and therefore they deserve to be there.

Karela United FC hired and fired Enos Adepa Kwame due to their poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League season.

The Anyinase based club sits on 17th position with 11 points after 15 games.

Dr. Prosper Nartey is currently plying his trade as head coach of West African Football Academy (WAFA).
