German-born Ghanaian international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has noted that he wants his kids to be proud of his achievement in football when he finally hangs his boost.

The former AC Milan superstar has had an illustrious career that has seen him play for some of Europe’s big teams.

At age 33, the forward knows he is headed for retirement. According to him, he wants to finish his career with his kids being proud of the legacy he will leave behind.

“I didn't always have the thought. That developed with age, you have to take on more responsibility. Soccer, fans, scoring goals - that's nice, I love that. But I want to leave something where my children say: "Look, that's what my dad did. Papa won the Frankfurt Cup, which nobody expected”, Fiorentina striker on loan at Besiktas said in an interview with Sport 1.

He added, "Not, because he is the best player, because he had the best team, but because he and his teammates had hearts. " You can always outgrow yourself. I want my children to read such positive things about me”.

KP Boateng is currently in Italy with his wife Melissa Satta, and only son, Maddox-Prince Boateng.
