Ghanaian youngster Clinton Antwi has indicated that it is his goal to help Esbjerg fB gain promotion to the Danish Superliga at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

The club played in the Danish top-flight league last season but unfortunately suffered relegation at the end of the campaign as a result of poor performance.

Now set to play in the lower-tier, Esbjerg fB is determined to instantly return to the Superliga and has been managed to recruit some players to provide the needed squad boost.

Earlier this morning, the club completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Clinton Antwi on a season-long loan from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland.

Speaking in an interview after joining the team, the full-back has noted that he wants to work hard to help the team return to the top-flight league.

“I look forward to the challenge and my clear ambition is to fight for a place on the team and do my part so that the club can return to the Superliga. I believe this is the right thing for me”, Clinton Antwi said as quoted on the website of FC Nordsjaelland.

The 20-year old has joined Esbjerg fB with a lot of qualities and will be expected to play a key role throughout the season.
