I want to perform better for EDF Logrono Femenino next season – Grace Asantewaa

Black Queen's midfield enforcer, Grace Asantewaa has set her sight on playing better than she did for EDF Logrono Femenino last season when the new season comes around.

The highly-rated midfielder secured a transfer to the Spanish Women Primera side in 2019 on the back of a good start to the season in the Ghana Women’s Premier League with Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Now having pre-season training with her club, Grace Asantewaa has shed light on her personal expectations for the next football season. According to her, she wants to play better than she did last season before the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic forced the cancelation of the football campaign.

“For me personally, my expectation is to keep up my form in pre-season and am praying to do better than I did last season in the upcoming campaign”, she told Accra FM in an interview.

She further revealed that her maiden pre-season with EDF Logrono Femenino is going on well and she hopes the team keeps the morale in camp into the new season.

“I will say the pre-season has been good. The technical team is taking us through training and things are going very well. I am hoping we can maintain the momentum in pre-season before the season starts”, Grace Asantewaa added.
