Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari says he wants to play active football for the next six or seven years before he finally retires.

The 32-year old who is currently with Italian Serie A side Pescara believes his values and principles in life gives him the opportunity to play at age 40.

"I don't drink and I don't smoke, so I will play another six or seven years and then I will retire completely from football," Muntari said.

Muntari was without a club since leaving Saudi Arabian side Ittihad Jeddah at the end of the 2015-16 campaign before clinching the move to Pescara.
