I was given tape and Nokia 3310 to play for Aduana- Former player Kingsley Nteng

Former Aduana Stars defender Kingsley Nteng has made an astonishing revelation insisting when he joined the Dormaa based club, some years back he was given a tape and Nokia 3310 and not signing on fee. 

The player who now plies his trade for Ebusua Dwarfs says he joined the club as a young boy and received the Nokia 3310.

Nteng, now very experienced in the Ghana Premier League has been a rock in the heart of defence for Ebusua Dwarfs helping them place sixth last season.

He made the revelation on lacal radio station Space FM indicating he never took a signing on fee.

“I was given tape and Nokia 3310 phone to play for Aduana Stars and I was filled with joy because it wasn’t common to get a mobile phone at that time and I still have the tape in my room”,Nteng told Space FM

“At the beginning of the season the chairman will call you that we are going for preseason and at the period I was just playing since I was young and never thought of any signing on fee. I was just happy to be part of the team.”

The former Aduana player has featured for several club in the Ghana Premier League including giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals.
