Team Manager of the Black Galaxies, Edmund Ackah has expressed disappointment in the performance of the team.

The Black Galaxies despite having one of the best preparation ahead of the CHAN tournament in Algeria failed to glitter.

The locally based struggled to make it from the group phase but lost to Niger in the quarterfinals.

The playing body was criticised for their uninspiring performance staged at the North African country.

Mr Ackah speaking in an interview revealed that he was disappointed in the performance of the team.

"If you look at the preparation we had, I was disappointed with the performance of the team," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.

"We camped for months before moving to Egypt to play friendlies. Upon our arrival in Algeria, we played friendly games as well.

"Before the start of the tournament, I was confident in the team but the performance of the team was unacceptable.

"The Ghana Football Association (GFA) provided us with a video analyst from the UK and a physical trainer with the hope that we will perform and win the trophy but we failed.

"I was honestly disappointed in the team as a team manager," he added.
