I will do my best to ensure Stuttgart stays in the German Bundesliga – Nikolas Nartey

Danish midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Nikolas Nartey has vowed to do his best to help VfB Stuttgart escape relegation at the end of the 2021/22 football season.

Although the player has started training with his teammates after undergoing surgery on his knee, he is not expected to feature again for his team in the remaining matches of the campaign.

However, Nikolas Nartey is not letting that stop him. After extending his VfB Stuttgart contract, the midfielder says he will embark on off-the-pitch stuff to help in a little way to ensure his team stays in the German Bundesliga.

“I am very happy about the contract extension. It shows me and is a nice feeling that the club trusts me. It's really good, especially after my injury and during the rehabilitation phase. I am very grateful for that. It was amazing that I was able to make my debut for VfB Stuttgart this season.

“My goal is to come back as soon as possible, to repay the trust with good performances and to help the team. Unfortunately, I can no longer support the team on the pitch at the season finale, but I will do everything I can to do so outside, talk to the lads and bring energy into the team so that we can stay up in the league,” Nikolas Nartey said.

The player has extended his Stuttgart contract until 2025.
