German-born Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he will love to spend 3 years at Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.
The attacker secured a loan deal to the Turkish giants on deadline day of the winter transfer window after failing to enjoy a good first round with Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A.
Starting off life with Besiktas, KP Boateng managed to impress on his debut as he completed his efforts with a goal that aided his team to emerge as 3-0 winners against FK Gaziantep over the weekend.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the forward disclosed that he enjoyed the atmosphere at the Vodafone Arena and would love to play for the club for 3 years.
“You will never be late but of course when I saw the atmosphere in the match, I said," I could have come before. Now, when I see the positive atmosphere here, I would like to stay here as long as possible”, Boateng said.
He, however, stress that he will need to discuss it with his wife first before finalizing anything.
“I would like to stay for 3 years, but of course I should also ask my wife”, he added.
