Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed his willingness to stay at Spanish club Atlético Madrid for the rest of his career.
Atletico Madrid has started contract talks with Thomas according to reports. Partey has gained some attention from England and Spain but has insisted that he wants to stay in Madrid and expressed his love for Simeone.
"I feel good, with confidence, when I am in good shape the team notices. Simeone is like a teacher, like a father to the players, it helps us a lot. Atlético is like my home, the place where I want to be always, it's like my family. I hope to stay in the club, I would like to retire here, but you never know what can happen. I want to stay here until the club doesn't love me, " he told the media.
Partey has become a regular fixture for Atlético, playing 22 league games this season and scoring two goals.
