Mallorca midfielder, Iddrisu Baba, has sustained a muscular injury in training and is set to miss the club's second tier league fixture against Albacete Balompié this weekend.
The news was released by the club.
It is understood that further tests will be conducted on him to find out the full extent of the injury but initial reports have been positive.
Baba was recently called into the Black Stars setup and featured in the 5-1 victory over Qatar. He was involved in Mallorca's La Liga run last season.
